How would you like to attend a concert through a... mask?

A particularly innovative event will be open to the public from 3-7 October as part of the Corfu International Festival with free admission to the Ionian Parliament.

ELSON VR. Using state-of-the-art Virtual Reality equipment and 360° audiovisual material from live concerts of the orchestra, GYSO innovates and offers a different experience to the audience. Through the ELSON VR mask, the "viewer" is transported to a live concert among the young musicians of the orchestra, having the opportunity to enjoy important works by composers such as Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky, Grieg, Weber, Mahler and Schubert.

ELSON VR was designed by Dionysis Grammenos and is funded by the Ioannis S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation.

The pioneering ELSON VR action serves educational purposes at the same time. It introduces students to symphonic music through interactive workshops, in which the coexistence of music and cutting-edge technology offers a new, modern world of possibilities, experiences and learning.
