OCTOBER 1 - NOVEMBER 15

The Corfu International Festival welcomes Theodoros Papagiannis and hosts the exhibition of sculpture entitled "Sculpture in Marble" for the whole month of October in the beautiful Garden of the People.

Various types of marble produced in our country take shape and through 10 sculptures give artistic substance to memories and experiences of the sculptor, depicting his favorite subjects such as, among others, the couple and birds.

Theodoros Papagiannis, Professor Emeritus of the Athens School of Fine Arts, is a leading figure in the organization of Sculpture Symposia in many cities in Greece and Cyprus, creating large sculptures in public space, while he collaborates with many European Schools of Fine Arts, especially the Berlin and Brera School, with Professors David Evison and Paolo Galerani, creating workshops for groups of students.

"Sculpture in marble". Where raw material takes form and becomes art, where art interacts with the surrounding space the visitor's experience constitutes an unprecedented experience.

From the 1st of October until November 15th at the People's Garden in the framework of the Corfu International Festival.
