Peter and the Wolf, the classic favourite fairytale by Sergei Prokofiev, will... come to life once again on Friday 24 November at 11:00 at the Municipal Theatre of Corfu.
The Corfu International Festival presents the musical fairy tale Peter and the Wolf by Sergei Prokofiev by the ensemble "Pharos Wind Ensemble", the actor Gerasimos Gennatas as narrator and a parallel projection of an animated film written and directed by Suzie Templeton and designed by Marek Skrobecki.
The film won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film at the 80th Academy Awards.
The "Pharos Wind Ensemble" was founded by leading musicians of the Greek National Opera and since 2018 it has performed several in Athens and the provinces.
