The newly established International Festival of Corfu (CIF) welcomes you to its inaugural season and invites you to discover a multidimensional program that covers a wide range of artistic creation.

Baroque music, opera, historical marches, songs about love, ancient tragedies, dance, moving narratives, electronic music, exhibitions, children's voices and young talents will unfold all over Corfu stories that speak of ancient myths, heroes, love, ideas of passion and dreams that came true throughout centuries in a fairytale setting inviting friends, residents and visitors of the island to join in a Festival which is landmark for our city.

Monuments and places of particular historical importance in Corfu, such as the Old Fortress, the center of the Old Town -both UNESCO World Heritage Sites-, the Palace of Saints Michael and George, the Mon Repo Palace, the Municipal Art Gallery and the Ionian Parliament, revive through a multi-thematic program based on a local, domestic and international artistic dynamic amalgam.

Using the multifaceted manifestations of the arts as well as the great cultural tradition of our country as a vehicle, the Corfu International Festival (CIF) aspires to make Corfu an epicenter of contemporary artistic expression as well as a place for new, pioneering ideas to flourish, using its welcoming spaces as an all year long meeting point for creators from every corner of the world.
