In the framework of the Corfu International Festival, a series of events are organized at Mon Repos with a focus on books and with the participation of important authors. A three-day event full of colourful images, multidimensional stories and interesting discussions. A three-day event with books "travelling in the Ionian Sea".

The events are divided into three sections. The first is a tribute to children's and teenage books. The second is a workshop on "Literature and Television" while in the third and last section five Greek and foreign authors present their work and are inspired by the landscapes of Corfu to write a story.
 

Below is a summary of the programme of events:

1.TRIBUTE TO CHILDREN'S AND TEENAGE BOOKS
Tuesday 13 September, 19:00

The author, academic and member of the Committee of the Ministry of Culture's State Awards for Children's and Teenage Literature, Tasoula Tsilimeni, presents and discusses with the award-winning author Maria Papagianni.

2. CONFERENCE ON "LITERATURE AND TELEVISION"
Wednesday 14 September, 19:00

What does a writer gain from having his or her novel adapted for television? 
How good a reader of literature can a TV viewer become?
How faithfully does the writer follow the author's wishes?
How much should the writer interfere with the inspirations of the director of a serial?
One of the most beloved writers, Isidoros Zourgos, discusses the issue with the writer of the big hits Mirella Papaconomou.
Journalist and writer Minas Vidiadis moderates and directors and writers intervene.

3. FIVE GREEK AND FOREIGN WRITERS PRESENT THEIR WORK AND ARE INSPIRED BY THE LANDSCAPES OF CORFU TO WRITE A STORY
